THE IMAGE
Saddle Mountain is located near the Northwestern Oregon Coast. It is a 5 mile out and back trail with a 1,900 foot elevation gain. Needless to say I was sweating and panting with my 30 lb camera bag all the way to the top. But it wasn’t the final viewpoint where I captured my favorite image. This view forced me to stop and examine every inch of land stretched before me. Between the logging patches, distant roads, cell phone towers, and the trail ahead of me I saw how dramatically we as humans have changed this landscape.
